i've always wanted to go to martha's vineyard but i cannot remember why. however, going there makes you realize why thousands of us citizens spend the summer months on the island that lies south of cape cod in the bay state, massachusetts. martha's vineyard can only be reached by ship or air. so right after our short newport stay (find the pictures
here) we drove to woods hole where the ferry to martha's vineyard departs.
