That's Amore

 isn't italian the best food ever? to me it is. so when a few months ago i read an article about a vineyard in tuscany that sells organic products i instantly remembered my holiday last summer. in august 2011 i had the chance to stay in an italian mansion near arezzo and had the most wonderful time (let's forget the fact that i lost my wallet there, cause that's a completely different story). see my tuscany photo diary here. the vineyard i read about is called la vialla and they have the best marketing ever (and probably the best italian products). but see for yourself!

i googled la vialla, registered on the website and a few weeks later received their catalog. you can also leaf through the catalog online but to me that's not the same.

they sell home-made noodles, pasta, olive oil, vinegar, wine, juice and much more.

i received the catalog neatly packaged with a dvd and a personally signed note (which today hardly ever happens).

they offer italian sweets, honey, jam...

everything's thought-out and lovingly designed.

i have to get this mousse with ricotta!

as i'm lazy i still haven't ordered anything yet. so a few weeks after receiving the catalog i got a little parcel (keep in mind: without having ordered!).

they sent me samples of some of their products!

sweets, olive oil and a small bottle of wine.

i still haven't tried the red wine because the bottle's so cute and special...

today's the day! i will finally order some things from fattoria la vialla. the only problem is that everything comes in boxes, which means you cannot buy just one bottle of wine but you have to take the whole box. the advantage of la vialla: no shipping charges! because of that the people from la vialla welcome group orders.

The Sixx Edition

to be honest, i don't care if my glossybox is pink, blue, yellow or green as long as i like the products that are inside.

i love the smell of this l'occitane shower gel!

the eucerin sun cream doesn't really smell nice but it serves its purpose. my boyfriend has a fair skin and gets sunburnt easily. however, he didn't get sunburnt with this sun block. still, there might be other sun creams out there which protect from the sun but at the same time smell great!

i know 'hate' is a strong word but i have to say that i've come to hate clinique. i've bought this mascara once and will never buy it again or any other product produced by clinique. my eyes are very sensitive and this clinique mascara only causes red and hurting eyes. i've also looked the mascara up on codecheck (a free app that shows you the ingredients of many different products, not only cosmetics) and it contains 9 (!) substances which are not recommendable like silica (usually used in tooth pastes), certain colorants which can be cancer-producing (some of these colorants have even been banned from textile dyeing in the european union) etc. i really recommend downloading the app and scanning some of your cosmetic products. it's quite terrifying how much sh*t they contain. i've read a quote a few months ago saying that you wouldn't eat certain things, so why would you put it on your skin (which is your biggest organ, btw)? so in case i've frightened you: there are alternatives! i found the perfect mascara for me from organic glam. its ingredients are 60% organic and free from artifical colors, preservatives and fragrances. it works like any other mascara and it makes your eyelashes look amazing.

i haven't tried this eye shadow (i think it's an eye shadow...) yet but i don't like that it's a powder. i bet it's hard to apply and my whole hand will be gold afterwards.

supposed to be an organic lip balm, so thumbs up. the smell is too strong and that's why i would not buy it again.

Speed Freak

there is only one place in austria where you can go jet skiing: speedworld in bruck an der leitha. i love speed but i hate driving/riding vehicles myself at a high speed. that's why i was a little bit sceptical at first. however, the moment i was able to stand up on this jet ski i was so happy that i hadn't chickened out. when we went there again last weekend i didn't even fall into the water. so proud of myself. thank you markus r. for taking most of the pictures! i also want to thank my boyfriend for always pushing me to do things i normally wouldn't do. tomorrow we are going to tyrol for a rafting and a canyoning tour. looking forward to a weekend full of action and fun!

one day i will be able to do this myself. xD

the following day my muscles felt so freaking sore... but last weekend i almost felt no pain after jet skiing.
