kafkaesque

frankly, the only picture of prague i would still like today. taken in december 2007. the only reason why i am not going to delete all the other photos of that trip is that i do not want to forget all of the things i experienced back then. most of the pictures are blurred and to be honest simply ugly. and i looked like a 12-year-old skater girl. haha. what a shame.
anyway, i am travelling to prague on saturday and will be staying in the golden city for one month. soo, who arrived in prague one week ago, took some of my fear away. travelling alone is one thing but staying away from home for one month is completely different, especially when you have become used to having your bf by your side. he also did the laundry when we were in korea together. now it is my turn to show that i can fend for myself. it is not going to be all ponies and unicorns abroad. i have to finish a stupid term paper until april 16th, have to work on a presentation about labor unions in korea but at the same time i need to make sure that i will not miss out on sightseeing. it is spring already which increases the probability of having enough light for great pictures.
anyway, i already have plans for saturday night but i will not tell you until tomorrow afternoon.
my bag is far from packed, as always. however, i made a list this time. i even have to take a pan with me... and there is no refrigerator in our dormitory. xD how am i going to survive?

early easter present from me to me

today my first austrian glossybox was lying on my doorstep.

and the sun was shining brightly outside.

present + spring + sun = me happy

the box was really heavy...

inside were 7 products instead of 5. :D so nice!

wellness products.

because i have been asked a few times: i am only using a sony cybershot digi cam.

probably the best product in the march box: lip balm and sunscreen in one.

also appealing because it is an austrian product.

weird name. xD

oh i love testing finishing hair treatments.

probably because i am scared my long hair will soon look damaged...

i am not so sure if these thermal water sprays really work but i can pretend that they do. :D

bath salt: the smell is quite strong which means i do not have to use all of it at once.

p said the showergel smells like a fresh toilet xD ah well, it does not on my skin. tried it.

one cannot have too many eyeshadows. they seem to never expire. very practical.

a light color which can also be used during the day

life's good

thursday afternoon soo and i went to poc (people on caffeine). it was her idea and i am really glad she showed me the place. it's a small and a kind of a hidden café but the concept and the friendly owner convinced me right away. prices are moderate and the quality seems to be excellent. you can also order coffee for take away. a hip hip hooray to spending more time with soo in prague! <3 let's check out all the cool cafés, restaurants and bars in april!

in the evening my sis and i went to the best asian restaurant we know (yummiest maki for the lowest price). although i am kind of getting tired of eating maki (i was obsessed with maki for quite a long time), i enjoy kai's asian food every time. after dinner we went to the cinema and saw "türkisch für anfänger". i haven't seen such a funny movie in months. i just couldn't stop laughing and when i took a sip of my water during the film i almost chocked on it... xD

saturday morning my mom, my sis and i went to demel for breakfast (the birthday present for my mom). she really caught the spirit of the place when she ordered a breakfast that was even more expensive than my sister's and mine. :D so proud of her! haha.

after breakfast the three of us did some shopping and i found two sun hats i adore. unfortunately, they seem to be a little bit over the top and that's why i could never wear them in public. so sad!

m, c and i then spent saturday night at le loft and later on at the passage. at le loft not only the view was breathtaking but the atmosphere was also... so mine: hip and glamorous. and if you only order beer and refrain yourself from buying fancy drinks, it's absolutely affordable. another plus: the staff is extremely nice. when i said that i didn't need a glass for my beer the second waiter rushed to the rescue - he insisted on cleaning the bottle neck beforehand. haha. :D so funny and sweet.

my bf and i spent the remains of the weekend, namely sunday afternoon, outdoors. we watched the first signs of spring and even took some cute pictures together. photos can take you back in time and i love keeping things that remind me of special moments - pictures, postcards, tickets... that's why i always write birthday cards, christmas cards, easter cards, anniversary cards. words normally fade but not if you write them down. :)
